English Adventure Camp Scotland

Fun and adventure speaking English in the UK! During our Scotland summer camp we will participate in adventure activities with native speaking guides. Each activity is chosen to promote teamwork and a full day of communication in English, either with our guides and teammates or with locals during our visit to the Crannog Center, the Highland Games or just shopping in town. Your child will practice English, build confidence and make amazing memories exploring the spectacular Scottish countryside.

The camp is designed for children must be between 8-16. Airfare, transportation, accommodation,meals, snacks and activities are included. A deposit of 300 Euros is due by February 28th and the balance is due by May 15th, airfare will book booked separately by Stewart English. Students should bring a small amount of pocket money for souvenirs and snacks. Places are limited so register as soon as possible.

Sample Day

7:30- wake up call

8:00- breakfast

9:00 morning meeting- explanation of morning activity and any related vocabulary in English and discussion

9:30 sailing- children learn and practice sailing the boat as a team with the help of their native speaking sailing instructor

13:00 lunch

14:00 afternoon meeting-explanation of afternoon activity and any related vocabulary in English and discussion

14:30 boulder climbing- guides and children will travel by bus (15 mins) to a local climbing area for boulder climbing under the supervision of a licensed guide

17:45 dinner

18:30 camp games

20:00 supper (snack) and discussion of the day

20:30 free time

22:00 lights out

Abernethy Ardeonaig Children’s camp is a full service adventure camp in Killin Scotland. The facility houses up to 60 students and has onsite catering. The activities happen in or around the center which has a private beach on Loch Tay. The camp has a wide variety of adventure activities lead by licensed guides from England, Scotland, New Zealand and the USA.
